Wow... what a great day filled with sunshine, golf and good laughs - thank you to everyone for taking part in Monday's Bank Holiday social and making it such a great day.

Some great scores out there with notable mentions of Gavin and Natalie Childs and Jeff and Ange Robinson with the highest single hole score of 20 points on number 3 and the men's team of Nick Spray, Adam Levoi, Kevin Fox and Vincent Schofield with the highest 9 hole score of 63 points (on the back 9).

The winning men's team is: Matt Butler, Marc Wingrove, James Moor and Gary Neill with a superb score of 107; in second place, very closely behind is our own Captain Ben Blackeby, Mark Pidgeley, Tony Ridgley and Alun Morgan with a score of 105.

The mixed division winners were Martine and John Adamson with Karen Stanton and Brian Gowers knocking it out of the park with a score of 112; in second placer were Jeff and Ange Robinson with Gavin and Natalie Childs, scoring an even 100.

The 50/50 winner of the Guess where Captain Ben's shot on to 16th green (or around) would finish up is Tom Slocombe.

Thank you to everyone for supporting these social events, with such a great response we will be looking very closely at adding a couple of additional events before the next Bank Holiday Social which is in August.
