On a fantastic winters day the ladies and gents played a Valentine 2 Step. The day started off very misty but this soon lifted, but it did make the first few holes a little tricky.

This competition was also played on Sunday, which was also a beautiful day. In all 18 couples took part, with 5 ladies who had a blind draw.

A meal of ham, egg and chips after the competition was served on a rolling basis. The raffle raised an amazing £155, with many prizes on offer.

The overall competition was won by Verity Rosewarne and Richard Sexton, who was Verity's blind draw, with a brilliant score of 55. In 2nd place were Sue and Andrew Bardell, Andrew usually plays at Braintree, so it was lovely to see him joining us for this competition, in 3rd place were Martine and John Adamson.
