What a great day for golf with the course drying out and conditions getting better every day.

36 players took part in the Social Competition with some great scoring in both the men's and mixed divisions with just a difference of 10 shots between first and last overall.

Scoring a magnificent 56 the winning Mixed Team were Paul Kelleher, Carol Farrance, Simon Wright & Keith Frogley.

Ron Shirley, Gary Chapman, Clive Moyce & Neil Miller were in 2nd place in the men's division with a score of 58 but pipping them by just a single shot to claim 1st place was Simon Larking, Julian Baines, Adrian Baines & Rob Kilgour - great scores all round.

Nearest the Pins on the 5th hole was Martine Adamson for the Ladies & Dominic Irwin for the Gents and the longest Putt on the 13th was made by Steve Ballard.

Paul Kelleher was the clever fella who guessed where Sue Ballard's approach on the 16th was going to finish - well done sir!
