Essex Win Again!

Another great day on the golf course for The Essex today with great weather except for a couple of quick showers. The golf course was in excellent condition receiving compliments from the both Hintlesham and Essex players alike.

It was a very close run competition with The Essex managing to take the Booth Memorial trophy scoring 297 to Hintleshams 293. Here's club and lady captains Simon Larking and Rita Clementson claiming the trophy. Debbie Baker who does a great job organising this friendly also announced today that from next year there will be home and away legs in the same year!

Nearest the Pin for The Essex on the 11th was won by Emma Rowe and Jim Baker - winning their choice of wine.  

A carvery followed the golf with a nice choice of desserts in the Conservatory. A massive thank you to Lorna and the whole catering team who made sure everything ran so smoothly.
