16 seniors from the Essex played a match against Braxted Park, after tea/coffee and biscuits, we had 4 matches teeing off from the 1st and the 10th.

Despite a slight downpour, everyone enjoyed the golf which concluded with post round drinks in the golf bar followed by a 2 course meal in the flight suite.

Braxted Park NTP on the 5th won by Barry Blumson.

Essex NTP on the 11th won by James Baker, despite an attempt from Bob Raynor who marked the sheet but was playing in the earlier stableford :). 

A valiant effort from our guests but unfortunately for them, The Essex ran out winners 7 points to 1, Essex  did not lose any match but halved 2, despite the wide ranging score, The matches were very close.

A big thanks and well done to the Essex team, especially the 2 late subs who stepped up to ensure we had a full team, Tony and Colin.

Braxted captain finished with the kind words of welcoming us to Braxted Park on Wed 26th June for the return match.
