What wonderful weather for our guest day. It was good to see some of our ex members as guests including Margaret Attwood who has travelled some miles to be here. The half-way house was well-manned by Heather Moss, Jenny Meecham, Monica Melia and Chris Curtis after she had marshalled all ladies on a chipping and putting competition. Everyone tucked into a well-presented meal in the Flight suite. Thank you to chef David and all his staff.

Winners of various NTP were Angela Frankland 14, Karen Biggin guest on 11 and Debbie Burnett from The Essex on 11th Jenny Tuffen as guest and Pat Free were the winners on hole 5.

Nearest the line was Linda Martin and the longest drive was Verity Rosewarne with Heather Moss guessing where Tizzy landed on the 1st tee.

The putting and chipping competitions were won by Linda Gleed and  Roz Croot respectively.

Winners of the 9 hole competition were Linda Martin and Nicola Stevenson.

The runners-up in the 18 hole were

Sue Bardell, Jenny Day, Debbie Williamson, Jane Kirk with a very good score of 115.

However with an amazing score of 130 the winners were

Roz Croot, Penny Fowler, Belinda Hector, Sarah Abbott. Well done ladies.

Thank you to so many ladies who help to make this a successful day and to Georgia from the staff for the organisation of the meal etc, liaising with Diane Snape from the ladies section.

A profit of £225 was made to the charities.
