Today the Essex seniors played Brett Vale seniors in a friend golf competition.

After a damp start the weather improved and playing conditions were excellent and the Brett Vale  players commented on how much they enjoyed the day.

The Essex senior was Paul Wolton and Brett Vales was Steve Smith seen here with their bottle of wine and the Essex Captain for the day Roger Farson.

Result 

It was a very closely run result with The Essex winning 4.5 to 3.5 matches.
