Today The Essex Seniors play a friendly match against Hintlesham at the Essex. On arrival there was tea and cofffee for all with biscuits also.

Captain for the day announced all the Seniors pairings and who was playing at what time,  then all the seniors left the golf bar.

There were sixteen from each club playing in a very sunny day where playing golf could be no better.

The Seniors set off on the 1st and 10th and on the way round each team had a NTP as well as trying to win the day.

After every Senior had finished we move from golf bar to the flight suite for our two course meal and the results. We also had a scratch card where you can win £20 and the remaining monies go to the Charity the Seniors are supporting this year Dementia UK.

After a fabulous meal with started the announcements for the NTP'S.

The Hintlesham winner NTP on the 11th hole was

The Essex winner NTP on the 7th hole was

Roy Raison receiving his bottle of wine, congratulations in your win.

Now the winning team on the day after a great day playing golf and enjoying yourselves.

The winners were with a score of five and a half to two and a half was The Essex, congratulations to all the seniors who took part.

The Seniors wish to thank the staff for their service today in cooking the meal and serving the meal and the drinks in golf bar. The Essex would not work without these staff and our wonderful green staff so a big thankyou to you all.
