Today we saw the second Essex Seniors Charity day, raising funds and todays was for Dementia UK. We were ably supported by BMW (Seniors Sponsor) who brought a car along plus added an auction prize of a weekend use of a BMW with insurance.
76 golfers took part with a shotgun start, with further guests sitting down for the excellent post game dinner & auction.
Our famous Chipping and putting challenges were back, a Beat the Pro(well Simon Larking new Senior) on the 5th and a number of other prizes. It was a pairs competition, but also featured Best Female score front Nine and best Male score Back Nine.
We have raised £3850 on the day, which couldn't have been done without the terrific support of so many people.
