The Finals of this year's Interclub were held at Lichfield G & CC with the Ladies having secured their place in May.

A couple of substitutions were needed but our Essex Ladies team were triumphant with their 3-best greensomes scores of the 4 totalling 106-points; holding off the Warwickshire & Maple Durham teams by a single point!

The Lichfield team were amazing - thank you to their reception team for the warm welcome; the friendly staff at the Strikeshack and the wonderful service from their F&B crew. A big thank you to Matt (Golf Ops Manager) for arranging our practice rounds the day before and keeping everything running smoothly on the day.

We were lucky enough to have great support from Simon Larking & Tizzy Learey who were there to encourage us all at the first tee, provide on-course support and then welcome us back in at the 18th.

The Lichfield course held up well considering the recent weather and proved quite interesting with some very tricky greens that we're not really used to - again, the starter and greenskeeping staff were friendly and helpful, again a big thank you to them.

We look forward to defending the title again next year!
