DUE TO COURSE MAINTENANCE TAKING PLACE 2-DAYS PRIOR - COMPETITION HCAP QUALIFYING STATUS WILL BE REVIEWED ON THE DAY.

18-hole Qualifying Stableford Competition - Individual Sign Up - 95% handicap allowance (i.e. Playing handicap). 

Players are asked to enter their own scores using the IG app once marker's and players have verified scores also ensuring that an image of the card is uploaded to IG and the player is asked to hand their card to the designated committee member handling scoring on the day.

There will be help available from the golf staff in reception or other ladies who are familiar with the scoring system.

Buggies may only be used in 18-hole trophies, Strokeplay and Stablefords by players who have provided a dated medical certificate, which needs to be updated every three years (bringing the Ladies Section in line with County rules). A copy needs to be supplied to the Ladies Secretary and Golf Manager at The Essex Golf & Country Club to keep on file. In subsequent years, (for the Ladies section) players will need to sign an ELGCA consent form each year (if appropriate) to say the health condition is on-going. It will not be necessary to provide another health certificate unless the existing one is over 3 years old.
