On the hottest day of the year 17 teams entered Captain Glenn's Charity Day. There were several side competitions, putting, chipping etc.

The winning all male team with 123 stableford points was Darren Grace, Stuart Shaw, Mark Hanley and Chris Artis. The winning mixed team with 115 points was Jenny Swift, Ron Thayre, John Phillipson and Ewen Guy.

All those who attended enjoyed the day. The catering for the BBQ worked extremely well, Glenn thanked Ajay and all his team.

The final sum raised for the Bobby Moore cancer research fund will be announced at a later date, once all the bills have been settled.
