Played in a blaze of sunshine, this years Captains Charity Day saw 17 teams compete in a texas scramble format. A big thanks to Stuart Shaw for helping organise the BMW hole in one prize on the 14th hole and to David Walker for his assistance on the tee. Unfortunately nobody managed to scare the hole so the car has been returned.  Thanks also to Scott Clark for providing the'beat the pro' challenge on the 5th hole.

The halfway snacks & homemade cakes were very welcome, thanks to Mollie Blackwell for her efforts as well as all John's helpers upstairs before and after the golf.

After the golf came the auction and a big thanks to Paul Beecroft for his efforts in helping us raise some more money for this years charity 'Walking with the Wounded'

Lastly well done to John & Sue Booth who worked tirelessly to put on a great day and to help raise nearly £4,000 for the charity.
