£5 entry per player, inc. £1 entry to "Guess the Location on the Green" competition.
All players welcome, inc. Juniors & Guests (payment of appropriate green fee in addition to competition entry fee required). When signing up players can add up to 3 partners and pay for them too upon entry. If booking for less than 4, players selecting the same Tee Time as you select will be your playing partners.
Please arrive at the first tee at least 15 minutes prior to your tee time to allow time to enter supplementary competitions and for team photos to be taken. Prepared team scorecards will be available for collection from the Starters Hut.
Teams of 4 Players - 85% Handicap Allowance - 18-hole Coloured Ball Format.
We may need to use a ''blind draw'' in the event of a 3 person team and would ask that each players score is entered on the team card - thank you.
85% Handicap Allowance - Team Stableford Format with 2 scores to count per hole, which MUST include the coloured ball score + best score of the other 3 players and double points on the corners i.e. holes 1, 9, 10 & 18. NOTE: Once the coloured ball is lost...it’s lost! No replacements available - sorry! Only one player needs to fill in a standard Essex scorecard for your team, which must be verified, signed and handed to the committee member handling scoring on the day.

Despite the low level of entries, fun was had by those who enjoyed the course and finished in sunshine, after a few light showers. The challenge of keeping the orange ball the whole way round was only completed by one of the five teams, as 3 put theirs in the water (one on the 1st) and the other team's low handicapper lost it in a tree. The scoring was impacted by the earlier loss of the orange ball with the winning Mixed team easily winning that competition by bringing home the coloured ball. The Men's competition was won by the team that kept their ball the longest (13th hole).
