Easter Monday Bank Holiday Social - Shamble
£5 entry per player, inc. £1 entry to "Guess the Pin Position" competition. All players welcome, inc. Juniors & Guests (payment of appropriate green fee in addition to competition entry fee required). When signing up players can add up to 3 partners and pay for them too upon entry. If booking for less than 4, players selecting the same Tee Time as you will be your playing partners.
Please arrive at the first tee at least 15 minutes prior to your tee time to allow time to enter supplementary competitions and for team photos to be taken. Prepared team scorecards will be available for collection from the Starters Hut.
Teams of 4 Players - 85% Handicap Allowance - 18-hole Shamble Format - 4 tee shots required from each player - Best 3 Stableford scores to count on each hole.
To qualify for the mixed division, mixed teams must have at least two ladies in the team.
We may need to use a ''blind draw'' in the event of a 3 person team and would ask that each players score is entered on the team card - thank you.
Maximum Playing Handicaps: Men: 40 Ladies: 54
Only one player needs to fill in a standard Essex scorecard for your team - these will be provided at the first tee and should be collected before teeing off the first hole.

8 teams enjoyed the sunshine and warm conditions on this Bank Holday social. The Mixed team with the best score was 117 and in the Men's competition 4 teams were seperated by 3 points, with the winning team getting 123. Captain Simon Larking won the guess the approach shot on the 1st Green, by correctly predicting where his 3rd shot would finish.
Hoping for more entries on the next social which is May Bank Holiday, 6th May 24.
