£5 entry per player, inc. £1 entry to "Guess the Location on the Green" competition.
All players welcome, inc. Juniors & Guests (payment of appropriate green fee in addition to competition entry fee required). When signing up players can add up to 3 partners and pay for them too upon entry. If booking for less than 4, players selecting the same Tee Time as you select will be your playing partners.
Please arrive at the first tee at least 15 minutes prior to your tee time to allow time to enter supplementary competitions and for team photos to be taken. Prepared team scorecards will be available for collection from the Starters Hut.
Teams of 4 Players - 85% Handicap Allowance - 18-hole Modified Stableford Multiplier Format.
We may need to use a ''blind draw'' in the event of a 3 person team and would ask that each players score is entered on the team card - thank you.
85% Handicap Allowance - Stableford Format with best two scores multiplied together to give hole score - Double team score on par 3's i.e. Holes 5, 7, 11 & 14. Only one player needs to fill in a standard Essex scorecard for your team, which must be verified, signed and handed to the committee member handling scoring on the day.
Maximum Playing Handicaps: Men: 40 Ladies:54

WOW!!! What a great day for golf!
With 39 players in this year's Good Friday Social the weather and the course conditions were amazing.
It was such a lovely day that everyone, even if their scores weren't as they'd hoped, still came in smiling.
The mixed event was won by Richard Sexton, Martine Adamson, Julie Sexton & Birthday Boi John Adamson with a great score of 93 points.
Winning the Men's section with an amazing 132 points were Rodger Underwood, Darren McLellan, son George McLellan, & Keith Frogley... well done guys - beating second placed men's team of Julian & Adrain Baines, Kieran & Simon Longman who also had a great score of 121 points.
Nearest the Pin on the 5th Hole winners were: Linda Gleed & George Jr McLellan - well done guys.
The Longest Putt winner on the 16th was Leslie Cole.
A great turnout with the main winner being the Captain's chosen charity, Little Havens Hospice - thank you to everyone for playing and supporting the Social and we look forward to seeing more players for Easter Monday's Shamble!
