Inaugural event for which Sally Blackwell, our current President of The Essex Ladies Section has donated a Rose Bowl trophy in memory of Margaret Hobbs. This will be an annual event where the winner of the Rose Bowl trophy will be allowed to take it home and enjoy it for the year.

9-hole Qualifying Competition (Front 9-holes only) - 95% Handicap Allowance (Playing Handicap) - Stableford Format.

The use of buggies is permitted for this trophy competition.

Players wishing to continue to play 18-holes may of course do so but only the front 9-holes will count towards the competition.

If Covid restrictions are still in place, in accordance with England Golf guidelines, it is recommended that players do not swap scorecards at any time. 

Players are asked to enter their own scores using either the IG app or the Touchscreen, once marker's and players have verified scores. Scorecards should then be handed in to the committee member handling scoring that day for verification, also ensuring that the scorecard has been completed correctly and signed by both player and marker (Covid restrictions permitting).

There will also be a prize for the highest 18-hole stableford score.

Sally Blackwell has very kindly invited all the lades to afternoon tea in her garden after today's game.  

Ladies are asked to please change for afternoon tea. Rose Bowl Trophy to be presented at the afternoon tea.

There will be no charge for tea but any donations you would like to make for the tea would be gratefully received. We will also be running a raffle, the cost of a raffle ticket will be for a minimum of donation of £5. For this event we will take cash on the day not bank transfers so please bring plenty of cash with you to cover any donation you would like to make towards tea plus your raffle entry. Proceeds are going to benefit the Ladies Captain's Charity which this year is the British Heart Foundation and Margaret's favourite charity, The Children's Society.
