LADIES MOLLY HOLLY TROPHY (NQ) 9 Hole with Festive Lunch to follow

Tuesday 9th December 2025, Red Tees, County Course front 9 Q

(95% handicap allowance)

We had some good fortune today with the rain holding off until we were all able to complete the 9-hole competition; So, whoever managed to get their elves to perform a successful anti-rain dance… thank you!

The staff at The Essex were amazing from Amy in the Golf Bar keeping the tea’s & coffee’s flowing, to Simon - putting a smile on everyone’s face flogging arm bands before we went out!

JonJo and the greens-keeping staff worked their magic in squeegeeing the casual water off the greens, saving our putts! When the course has received that much rain the night before, but everyone still comes in beaming, you know it’s a proper club! We heard a chorus of “I can’t believe how well the course held up” … so thank you guys!

We were then treated to a fabulous lunch prepared by Mark and Bev. The ladies’ massive round of applause said it all – a well-deserved show of appreciation for a wonderful meal.

Today's Golf Results:

Debbie Burnett and Debbie Baker were presented with a festive bouquet as a thank you for making the raffle prizes shine a bright as Rudolph's nose - everyone agreed the prize table looked amazing.
